Finding Christ in Prison

Almost every day, we receive notice that another prison inmate has found Christ in prison! Whether through a CLI book, Bible or even another ministry, we praise God for His grace and His faithfulness behind bars.

We encourage the inmates who write to us to enroll in the CLI Leadership Bible Study, to grow in their faith and to share Christ with others. The white board near our front door is to encourage our volunteers and visitors that their prayers are being heard.

Thank you for partnering with us. Thousands are being saved every year!

Colonial Baptist Teens Bless CLI

Today we were blessed by a team of 6 young ladies and a mom who stamped several thousand Bibles. It was part of a youth work day with several hundred youth working in projects all over Raleigh.

We praise God for the wonderful Bible donations and a team to process them!

Home Schoolers Bless CLI

On Friday, we were blessed by a team of home schoolers anxious to help out a prison ministry! Just this week we received thousands of new testament Bibles and they needed stamping before we send them to the prisons. What perfect timing!

We praise God for His constant provision!

Chaplain Greetings!

"Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We here at our Unit Chapel would like to thank you for the books and bibles you recently sent to us. We are more than grateful and we appreciate the help that you provided. The inmates here at the unit really enjoy reading any new books we receive and brothers are always in need of reading God's Word. So we thank you now from our hearts and for any future donations that you send. God bless you."

Wake Christian Academy at CLI Again

Harpers Ferry Baptist Church Brotherhood

Yesterday we had an exciting visit from six men from Harpers Ferry Baptist Church in Pembroke, North Carolina. They had collected Christian books and Bibles and drove to CLI to deliver them personally. We are glad they did.

Bill Brewington (center, holding book) shared that his wife had been visiting her mother and happen to see the article about CLI in Mature Living magazine. Mrs. Brewington suggested collecting books to her husband and the brotherhood went into action. Now they are considering doing a “Prison Book Party” and letting others know about our mission to bring Christ to the imprisoned.

Another interesting fact about the brotherhood is that they are Native Americans and members of the Lumbee Tribe. The Lumbee are the present-day descendants of the Cheraw Tribe and have continuously existed in and around Robeson County since the early part of the eighteenth century. One of their members was a traveling chaplain but recently passed from this life to be with Jesus. We pray that God raises up another Lumbee saint to carry on his work in the prisons.
