How many CLI boxes can fit in one post office vehicle? On Friday, our loyal postman, Jeff, tried for a new record. He came late in the day when his truck was empty and said, "I'll take them all!"

Normally, we only put out about 20-25 boxes per day.

Well, with the empty truck, Jeff and Jeremy began loading - and loading - and loading.


52 boxes in all - everything we had ready to ship!

It may not make the Guinness Book but I'm sure God was watching and smiling...and now you are too!

Blessed by YWAM

Friday, CLI was blessed by a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) mission team from Kentucky. They came for several hours and help stamp Bibles and Tracts.

While hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, these young men and women saints were from all over the US! One young lady was from Australia!

We praise God for all our volunteers and especially those from other ministries! What an exciting way to wrap up the wonderful year of 2011!

Fruits of Service

I reviewed an interesting Bible study from one of the inmates we serve. It was interesting in that it contained another Bible study within it. I was puzzled at first because it was a rather in-depth study on the Gospel of Mark, complete with questions and answers!

I dug a little deeper and found out that this Spanish inmate, who is in our Leadership Program, was apparently motivated by our systematical study of God’s Word to develop his own Bible study. I was very encouraged that through our CLI programs we are becoming effective not only in our ability to minister to inmates, but going a step farther by stimulating inmates to minister to others.

I am edified to see the Timothy principle is in full affect here at CLI. So many people have worked hard to make this a reality at CLI, therefore please share this miracle testimony as a true verification to all of our supporters and volunteers that have gone the extra mile to make this a reality. I am responding to this inmate and encouraging him to continue in his Iron sharpens Iron project.
